I put together what I hope are useful websites. When creating a website that involves shopping, I personally want a site that a) specifically has what I'm looking for, b) can give me an unbiased opinion that will help me make a quality choice, c) saves me time making a decision, and d) gives me confidence I'm getting a good price.

When I see several Amazon.com customers rating a product highly with no or few dissenting reviews, my personal experience has shown that I'm probably getting a good deal. I'd rather trust "the folks" than an expert.
As for time, Amazon lists over 7,000 pairs of men's sunglasses in their sports and outdoors category. Only a few dozen rank 4 stars or better and I have the highest ranking ones displayed on one page for your quick survey.
My personal experience is that Amazon is very competitive on price, especially if free shipping is available.
Neither this site nor Amazon is perfect. But I think the combination gives you an edge. You can make a quick decision and get on with your life.
